Moisson Montréal is renovating the main hall where we welcome our volunteers and we are seeking an interior designer or design student willing to offer their time and talent (on a pro-bono basis) to plan a new design for this 1600-square-foot space.

During 2018-2019, we welcomed 12 180 volunteers who worked a total of 90,235 hours in support of our daily operations. We want to improve the volunteers’ comfort during the day they spend with us.  We want to create an ergonomic and warm space for the rest area, changing rooms, coffee area, as well as the place where they watch the introductory video when they arrive at our offices.

Moisson Montréal is a registered charity founded in 1984 and the biggest food bank in Canada. We gather food donations and basic products all year long, and distribute them free of charge to community organizations on the Island of Montreal serving Montrealers in need.  The generosity of our food donors and volunteers allows us to have an extraordinary multiplier effect: each monetary donation of $1 enables us to distribute over $15 worth of food. In fact, Moisson Montréal was named by Charity Intelligence Canada among the Top 10 Canadian Impact Charities for 2018 and also among the Top 10 for 2017.
