This past November 26th, what a beautiful evening for our community! Nearly 3,000 people gathered at the Beaconsfield train station to welcome the traditional CP Holiday Train, benefitting Moisson Montréal. Santa Claus came early to admire the splendidly illuminated wagons and to attend the show, featuring Jonathan Roy, Dallas Smith and The Odds!
The event allowed us to collect 2,986 kilos of foodstuff and to raise $18,500 in donations, including $15,000 from CP and $3,500 from the public – that is $1,350 more than the total raised last year! A huge thank you to the Kiwanis Club, for warming our hearts with coffees, soup and hot chocolate, and to everyone who made the evening possible. What a great way to start the holiday season! See you all again next year!
