The Extra Helping food drive, a national campaign to fight against hunger continues until May 9 at ProvigoMD, MaxiMD, Maxi & CieMD LoblawsMD stores all over Quebec. This great Loblaw company initiative, started in 2009, encourages customers to show their support towards local food banks by giving food or cash donations to their participating neighborhood store. The requested non-perishable foods are: pasta, rice, meat and fish, canned soups and stews, dry and canned fruits and canned vegetables, flour, hot or cold cereals, whole grain cereals, peanut butter, aseptic milk powder or canned fruit juices, pasta sauces, beans, infant formula and baby food.

Donations and food collected will be donated to Food Banks of Quebec and redistributed among the organization’s members, including Moisson Montréal. At your next visit to one of the participating stores, we invite you to drop off foodstuff in the big blue boxes. A small gesture to make a big difference.
