The Quebec Waste Reduction Week (QWRW), the only campaign aimed at raising awareness about the issue of waste reduction, deployed at the national level, will be held from October 19 to 27. Its objective is to promote information sharing and initiate lasting change in the habits of waste treatment in all spheres of our society.

To educate young people about food waste, QWRW invites elementary school students to participate in the Quebec Waste Reduction Week Challenge. This year, the School Challenge tackles food waste: organize one of the proposed activities in the Reduce Food Waste section such as the Touski Recipe or the zero waste lunches.
